We are looking for an analytical and highly diligent Payroll Support Specialist to join our growing team at Talexio. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Operations and your duties will include:

  • Providing ongoing customer support in relation to queries about navigating and using the software (Online, over the phone and face to face)
  • Customer Support relating to payroll and employment law
  • Providing training to new clients who are using the system for the first time
  • Performing tests on software updates, and issuing tickets for software-related errors or failures
  • Identifying potential problems that clients may face when using the platform and liaising with the software team to mitigate these
  • Develop and design user manuals and documentation contributing to knowledge sharing
  • Performing problem-solving exercises holding end-to-end problem ownership

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • A flair for technology and IT is a must
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong team player
  • Fluency in Maltese and English

Education & Experience

  • 2 years’ work experience in computing and working local payroll
  • Knowledge of Maltese Employment Law

We are looking for an analytical and highly diligent Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing team at Talexio. You will be reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer and your duties will include:

  • Develop highly reliable software solutions
  • Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
  • Collaborate on architecture, design, and code reviews
  • Understand your users’ problems and find good solutions

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Experience in React and Typescript
  • 3+ years of professional software building
  • A deep understanding of required technologies and how to utilize them
  • Experience in Full stack development
  • Ambition and desire to learn different technologies
  • Team focused attitude
  • Advanced candidates with experience with CakePHP and the desire to learn something different will also be considered

Education & Experience

Degree in Computer Science, engineering or a related field would be considered an asset

We are looking for a Head of Software Engineering to join our growing team at Talexio. You will be reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer and your duties will include:

  • Lead and support our technical team of software engineers
  • Evaluate the performance of team members and identify key areas for improvement
  • Become a go-to person for product knowledge, code and internal systems
  • Actively participate in code reviews and software development
  • Ensure our architecture remains capable of supporting the functionality, reliability, security and performance of our product as we scale up
  • Build proof of concepts, prototypes and technical explorations
  • Measure system speed and oversee we’re maintaining optimal performance
  • Manage an agile delivery cycle and continually stable product updates to the market
  • Ensure overall quality and security of the product
  • Ensure a clear strategy for the management of technical debt

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Software Development (Full-Stack)
  • Previous experience in managing teams
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in full-stack software development especially using Typescript, NodeJS and React
  • Ability to take the initiative and deliver
  • Adopt a hands-on approach
  • Well-organised and team focused

Education & Experience

Degree or Masters in Computer Science, engineering or a related field would be considered an asset

We are looking for an analytical and highly diligent Customer Support & Implementation Specialist to join our growing team at Talexio. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Operations and your duties will include:

  • Assisting customers with onboarding processes and technical issues when using our product, while building strong relationships with customers
  • Being the first point of contact for clients contacting the Help Desk, gaining advanced knowledge of all products and providing expert assistance to clients
  • Resolving customer queries and guiding product users through features and functionalities, while also following up with customers to ensure that all technical issues are resolved
  • Liaising with internal teams and departments such as operations, engineering and QA teams to follow up on task statuses, priorities and project plans
  • Proactively identifying clients experiencing repeated issues or requests that are not resolved to the client’s satisfaction, and escalating issues as needed
  • Other ad hoc duties that may arise

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Fluency in Maltese will be given preference
  • Ability to handle tough or critical cases with composure and a level-headed approach
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies quickly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing the best service
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills

Education & Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Past experience in a SaaS environment will be considered an asset
  • Experience working with tools such as Jira and Zendesk is considered an asset
